Window Tabs

Tabs are always sorted by groups (Editor, Browser, Graph, Source Code Metrics) first. Following options apply to individual groups only.

Environment Options - Window Tabs

Alphabetically

Tabs are sorted in ascending order by title.

User arranged

User defines tab order by moving them manually. For example, putting specific header in front of a source file defines this order for these files when both files are opened. Order of entire sequence could be determined in this way.

Do not sort

Tabs are not sorted.

Place unsorted tabs on left / right

Unsorted tabs are always added to the left if checked, to the right otherwise.

Analysis-Status Dialog

If you often update SCA database this option may help you to save your time.

Do not show

The dialog will not appear at all. In the status bar down left you may see if the Analysis is running.

Close if the number of errors has not been changed

If the number of errors did not change since last Database update Dialog will automatically close.

Close if the number of errors and warnings has not been changed

If the number of errors and warnings did not change since last Database update Dialog will automatically close.

Do not close

This is the default behavior, you must click on OK after every Symbol database update.

Keyboard

This tab sets Editor parameters for keyboard.

Keyboard Definition File (Compiled)

Determines the active keyboard layout.

Clone

Editor Options Keyboard tab - Clone

Clone functionality allows you to create your own Keyboard Definition File (EML). You must compile it (Start menu > Compile Keyboard Definition File) into the KYB file needed for use in DA-C.

Miscellaneous

This tab contains options that determine miscellaneous project parameters.

Project options

Determines if changes made using Options dialog boxes are to be saved in a Project file while closing the current project, opening a new one, or closing the application.

Visual options

Determines if changes made using Options dialog boxes are to be saved in an Visual Configuration File while closing the current project, opening a new one, or closing the application.

Session

Determines if the current DA-C status is to be saved in an ".SES" file when closing the current project.

Visual options and session directory

Specifies the path to ".INI" and ".SES" files. If this field is blank then default path is used.

Project Help file

Determines the Project help file, for example the Compiler help file. The shortcut key for User help file can be defined in the Keyboard definition file (default Ctrl+Shift+F1).

Measurement units

Determines the measurement units of printing and graph settings.

Show Cancel dialog while browsing data

Determines if the Cancel dialog box is to be shown while expanding a graph and during the creation of Browsers.
