Editions
DA-C supports a large number of different development tools - compilers, assemblers... That is why it is necessary to set all tools, so that DA-C can give its maximum.
Classic Edition
Reader Edition
Special Editions
Classic Edition
The Classic Edition offers the complete range of features, but due to its general nature is not adjusted for any special tool. Classic Edition spans three categories:
Classic 8 supports only 8-Bit Microcontroller ANSI-C dialects
Classic 8/16 supports only 8-Bit and 16-Bit Microcontroller ANSI-C dialects
Classic Unlimited supports all supported Microcontroller ANSI-C dialects
Reader Edition
The Reader Edition is interesting for those who would not like to give up their environment, but would also like to use the power of DA-C functionalities on their project. In the Reader Edition DA-C has full functionality, with one limitation-writing is disabled in Editor, making DA-C useful for researching and analyzing projects. As with the Classic Edition, the Reader Edition also has three categories:
Reader 8 supports only 8-Bit Microcontroller ANSI-C dialects
Reader 8/16 supports only 8-Bit and 16-Bit Microcontroller ANSI-C dialects
Reader Unlimited supports all supported Microcontroller ANSI-C dialects
Special Editions
In association with development tool manufacturers, RistanCASE publishes special DA-C editions with pre-configured tools, limited tool support (by leaving out the competition), special plug-ins and setup procedure.
