In CodeVisionAVR "Tools > Configure" choose "Add".

"Tool Name": e.g "Start DAC"

"Tool Directory and FileName" (probably Windows language dependent): C:\Program Files (x86)\RistanCASE\Development Assistant for C\Program\DACEdit.exe

Parameters (corresponding DAC project): /p="myProject.dcp"
e.g.: /p="E:\Work\Customer Support\HP CodeVisionAVR V3.xx\DAC Support Example\DAC Support.dcp"

"Working Directory": C:\Program Files (x86)\RistanCASE\Development Assistant for C\Program\

The only changes I did concern the file "HP InfoTech CodeVisionAVR V3.xx.h".
In this file each #include of the "Chip Preprocessor define" is commented.
So I added the following 3 lines for my Chip (ATMega328pb):
#define _CHIP_ATMEGA328PB_
#define _IO_BITS_DEFINITIONS_
#include <mega328pb.h>
and now it is ok.
The 2 defines are normally configured by the IDE and they are not visible to DAC.
I send you the "HP InfoTech CodeVisionAVR V3.xx.h" file with my changes.

#include's are commented: This code was copied from "io.h" and only check if the processor #define is available. At the end of #ifdef/#else is one line with #error. It was easier to comment "#include" with replacing "#include" to "//#include" instead to delete hundreds of lines.

Include files in Preinclude header file is not good practice, probably you miss one additional #define to include this header it in your project.
