C++ Support
Before the release of V4.0, a partial support for C++ had been announced (ignoring C++ specific parts during the analysis of the C code). As time went by, this presented itself as something rather complicated, threatening to delay the release of V4.0 for a few more months. For that reason, we have decided to make V4.0 support only ANSI C dialects, and to release DAC++ V5.0 with complete C++ support for ANSI C++ and Embedded C++ (EC++) dialects as soon as possible.
DAC features will be expanded in the following way:

- Objects Report
- Calls To Member
- Calls To Class
- Calls Within Member
- Calls Within Class
- Uses Within Member
- Uses Within Class
Graph:
- The display of members and member functions in class nodes
- Class Diagram (classes and relations between them)
Project Window:
- The display of classes (members, member functions, access type, base classes)
Of course, these are only some of the main new features, those that most users would expect. We are preparing some pleasant surprises for you, of which we will inform you in some of the next issues of DAC News when we announce DAC++ beta release.
